Hello all!
In my opinion, making an outfit your own entirely comes down to the way in which you accessorise, and this outfit is the epitome of that point. We all know that switching up details like lip colour, sunglasses, rings, necklaces and hair pieces can change everything. I know the well known phrase is 'less is more' but for me, more is more! Personally, my penchant is for statement jewellery and bright lipstick, the more the merrier and the bigger the better!
Inside me lies one of those stereotypically mad, victorian old women who wear all of their jewellery at once, and I find it incredibly tempting to just throw on all of my favourite pieces simultaneously!
(Sunglasses : eBay. Blouse & Skirt : Topshop. Pearls : Granny's.)
I completely adore this 'bunny print skirt' - so sweet and SO appropriate for the springtime. As well as matching perfectly with a few fresh forget-me-nots in my hair, the detail of the rabbit print is so intricate and almost reminds me of a modern Beatrix Potter illustration!
The rest of my evening is going to entail catching up on the last few episodes of Game of Thrones, which I have been completely enthralled by. I only started watching it last week, but as soon as I saw the first episode I rushed out like a rabid animal to buy the books! Anything medieval/supernatural and I am absolutely sold! I must admit that the medieval genre is my secret love. (Lord of the Rings is a fave... don't judge!) Is anyone else a fan or read the books?
I hope you are all having a lovely start to your week, and don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram (username : arabellagolby) now I have finally caught up with the technology! :)
I am also an absolutely avid Game of Throwns fan, and LOTR and all things like that too. I love your blouse, the whole outfit is very pretty indeed x
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so beautiful! You look lovely :)

Gorgeous outfit! How cute are the bunnies on the skirt? I'm the opposite I'm so bad at adding accesories, I really need to learn to accesorize more because they really can make an outfit!

haha "Inside me lies one of those stereotypically mad, victorian old women", that made me chuckle. If old victorian women love layering heavy jewelry and wearing bunny print skirts, then I'm right there with you. i love everything about this look! and just like you, i cant get enough of necklaces and bright lips :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely skirt! The rabbit print reminded me of Beatrix Potter too. Love your pearls - my favourite accessory xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit, love pastel colours

Wow that skirt is gorgeous, animal prints are my absolute favourite!
ReplyDeleteI tried watching the first season of Game of Thrones with my boyfriend, but he kept on shouting "SHARPE" every time Sean Bean came on the screen and I couldn't face it after that! It's definitely on my summer viewing list, to watch when he's at work and can't disturb me!
