Pastels in Paris

Top: ASOS. Skirt: Ted Baker. Shoes: Kurt Geiger. Necklace & Bag: Zara. Sunglasses: Miu Miu.

Hello all!

Your eyes aren't deceiving you. What you see before you is a selection of photographs from a good few months ago, featuring that large, fiery ball often referred to as The Sun. Oh, THE SUN. Where has he gone? With the evenings AFTERNOONS getting darker, I felt the need for a little escapism. These photos, I'll admit - are not particularly recent - they are from my summer trip to Paris. I intended to share these photos with you at the time, as the outfit is a particular warm weather favourite of mine. As I gaze out of my kitchen window into the black 5pm abyss (HOW IS IT DARK AT 5PM?) it makes me yearn for a lighter, less weatherly-miserable time (not entirely confident that weatherly is a word but we'll go with it.)  If I say 'hashtag throwback' does that make it ok?

As I've bombarded you with so many photos, I won't witter on - on this occasion I shall let the outfit and city speak for itself. Nosing through other people's holiday snaps or just enjoying photos of pretty destinations is something I love to do. There's just so much colour, beauty and incredible architecture in Paris, so despite these being less than current I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.

and this is what I wore...

London Fashion Week Day 4 - Blue & Gold Floral Print Co-ord / YouTube Lookbook

Hello all!

Here it comes, bringing up the rear with its tail between its legs; my LFW day 4 outfit. Better late than never eh? At least that's what they say. (Who are 'they' anyway? Who are these mysterious people we constantly quote?)

Day 4 included 2 of my favourite shows, firstly; the Jay Briggs presentation. Held in a beautiful marble room with stained glass windows, both live models and mannequins were dressed in exquisitely ethereal, feather adorned pieces. It was a mystical, darkly romantic wonderland. Secondly, the Huishan Zhang show held at The Rosewood Hotel. Truly, I have never enjoyed a show more. It certainly helped that we were kindly seated right at the front and that each table was accompanied by its own afternoon tea - as seen below. Finger sandwiches and mini scones? (I had 5 mini scones. Do not judge me. They kept being replaced and who am I to turn down miniature food? Or any food) Not only that, Zhang's creations were essentially what the inside of my head looks like; giant bows, midi length and bardot style dresses, poofy skirts, ruffles, shirts and sweet little cropped jacket. I never usually watch a show and think 'I'd wear 99% of that' - but with Huishan Zhang, I honestly would! It was utterly divine. With every model that walked out, I gasped. My face was the little emoji face with hearts for eyes.

A huge thank you again to Premier Inn for having Becca and I to stay with you. (Shout out to Paulcat and the delivery man who delivered us midnight dominos in our pyjamas almost every night.)

P.S. Before you go, I've been really rather naughty. I've started YouTube and informed every platform but you, which is terrible of me, as this was where it all began, and for that reason I have each and every one of you to thank for the wonderful experiences I'm lucky enough to receive now. So, thank you. If you'd like to take a peek at my very first YouTube lookbook, featuring all of the outfits I wore to LFW, as well as a little peek into what I got up to, click here.
