Leather Lapels / Jewel Embellished Collar

Hello all!
With my first week of my second year at university drawing to a close (I know I told you all I went back on Thursday - it was actually Monday morning. Thank goodness that someone on my course updated their Facebook status to 'see you all tomorrow!' on Sunday evening. Organisation has never been my strong point, but I'm working on it!) I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend catching up on emails and ticking a few outfits off of my mental 'to-photograph' list. I also finished my much anticipated spring/summer to autumn/winter wardrobe changeover, meaning my coat rail is once again straining under the immense weight of my ridiculous collection, and my jumpers have been 'promoted' from box-at-the-top-of-the-wardrobe to the hanging rail.
Today I thought I'd share something that I wore on a recent trip to London (there were crepes in Kensington, of course) as well as some more in-depth photos of the exhibition and the Craig Lawrence S/S13 show I attended at London Fashion Week, Somerset House. Also, enormous thanks to Bianca - I couldn't have attended the show if not for her! (There's also a slightly stalky photo I took of Pixie Lott and her beautiful beau as they walked past. How could I not?)

Frayed Boucle Jacket / Bib Tie Blouse at London Fashion Week

Hello all!
Well, the busiest week of my entire summer break from university has just come to a close, but oddly enough I can't wait to get back to Oxford on Thursday to start my second year.
This monday I was fortunate enough to be invited along to London Fashion Week, so here's a quick overview of what I wore. I like to think of this outfit as me rebelling against many years of school uniform oppression. (I genuinely had to wear a kilt. I speak the truth.) Despite that, in my 'adult' life I absolutely adore the tailored look, but as always, worn in a way of my own - so even now boucle, blazers, buttoned up shirts and bow-ties often comprise several of my day-to-day outfits.

Jacket : ZARA. Blouse, Skirt & Necklace : Topshop. Bag : Chanel. Sunglasses : eBay.

On Thursday I also attended the Cosmopolitan and Vo5 Ultimate Street Style Icon 'Judging Day' - which was such an incredible experience, and so enjoyable. I'll be doing a full post on the day in the very near future!

Embroidered Leather Peplum Top / Peg Leg Trousers - Fashion's Night Out

Hello all!
I must be honest with you and admit that I'm not as enthused with this post as I usually am. I feel like the photos I took are a bit, for lack of a better word, rubbish. (With the exception of the few taken by my lovely friend Bianca.) Alas, I will endeavour to share my evening with you through the medium of my terrible photography. So, on Thursday evening I made my way to London for Fashion's Night Out. The 'event' consists of, in a nutshell; discounted brands (designer AND highstreet) with several shops offering complimentary drinks, canapés and snackettes - as well as DJ-ing and dancing performances (please note; there was also a bubble machine, and I am not ashamed to say that it took a lot of strength for me to maintain my illusion of composure and not chase the bubbles...)
See below for the mini-giveaway winner!

Necklace & Top :  ZARA. Trousers : ASOS. Shoes : Debut. Bag : Chanel. Belt : Urban Outfitters.

P.S. The Mini-Skull-Bracelet-Giveaway winner is Gavina Dhillon from 'Gvadlln' - if you'd like to drop me an email with your address, I'll send over the item to you personally! :)
